A global publishing firm are currently recruiting for a finalist level Finance Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. The key responsibilities include:
* Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly re forecasts, ensuring accuracy through both detailed and analytical review
* Review of monthly results with responsibilities for all business units, including but not limited to assisting with the month end close, variance analysis, global consolidation, reporting and commentary
* Assisting with the production of the Executive Board Packs.
* Support for the India finance team assisting with planning and actuals reporting as well as ad hoc commercial support
* Adhoc projects and analysis as required for the Senior Business Analyst,Business Manager and other senior stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have the following:
* Ideally Degree qualified in a relevant specialism (minimum of 2:1)
* CIMA/ACCA - Part or Finalist level
* Ability to analyse, evaluate and clearly report financial data in a multi-currency environment
* Strong attention to detail
* Commercial awareness - the ability to see the broader perspective
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent Excel skills
* Knowledge of Business Objects / SAP / Hyperion a distinct advantage
