£15 - £16 per hour


Our client is one of the most recognised retailers in the UK. They are looking for an addition to their team to cover extended maternity leave.

The ideal candidate will be required to:
Assist the Senior Finance Analyst in the preparation of budget and forecast information in relation to sales, margin and stock.
Provide weekly and periodic commentaries relating to sales, margin and stock.
Responsible for the reconciliation of the GM trading balance sheet and P&L.
Central point of contact for query resolution and ad-hoc analysis.
Responsible for the production of the weekly margin adjustment report and postings into Oracle.
Responsible for the management and control of Central Costs for General Merchandise.
Offering support and analysis to Cost Centre Managers when needed, liaising with HR to ensure headcount is closely monitored.
Assist the Senior Finance Analyst with the production of management reporting information for periodic forecast reviews.
Raising of supplier income invoices in foreign currencies and reversals of such invoices as and when required.



Key Skills:
You will be able to produce financial information in a user friendly manner.
Have the ability to deal with reconcile and analyse large volumes of data simplifying the processes involved and generate value adding insight.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to challenge.
Able to work to tight deadlines, whilst ensuring accuracy, with a right first time approach

What I need to know
Previous experience in a similar role
Advanced excel skills.
Core understanding of accounting and reconciliation requirements.
Awareness of developing and maintaining a framework of strong financial controls.
Knowledge of Oracle would be advantageous.

You must be available for interview ASAP and be able to start immediately.
