Assistant Management Accountant

Following continued growth, this market leading and nationally recognised brand is looking to grow its part-qualified team with the appointment a high calibre and commercially minded finance professional.

The role of Assistant Management Accountant will join a team of five reporting the Financial Controller and undertake the following key responsibilities:

•  Assist in the production of the monthly management accounts by preparing and posting overhead journals. 
• Provide insightful commentary on any specific variances to budget and forecast.
• Take ownership in the production of specific monthly and year-end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in the budget and rolling forecast production for specific overheads. 
• Undertake other ad hoc projects when required 

This is a challenging role, perfect for a result-orientated finance professional keen to gain further exposure. You will be actively studying towards your CIMA or ACCA qualification, able to work on own initiative, with an analytical mind, have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Furthermore, the successful individual can expect a fast track program through to qualification and beyond.

Salary = £25,000 + full study support + other corporate benefits
