Financial Controller

The Company

Brewster Pratap are delighted to be exclusively working working with a growing SME based in Rotherham who are looking to recruit their first Financial Controller. The company has a turnover of £20m and looking to grow significantly next year.

The Job

This job will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the running of thw whole accounts department and will be part of the senior management team, contributing to the strategy of the business

Monthly management accounts review including P&L, balance sheet and month end

Cashflow management and forecasting and liasing with the bank

Preparing year end and liason with auditors

Working with the management team in setting annual Budgets and Strategic Plans

Ensuring the finance department fully complies with agreed financial and corporate procedures and controls.

Ongoing review and development of processes and procedures within the Finance Department, to ensure the ongoing accuracy, relevance and timeliness of information and to support the current and future growth of the company

Support the Managing Director with insightful financial information from analysing MI

Leading and developing a finance team including 3 clerks and a Management Accountant

The Job

Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with experience in a similar position or looking to take the next step in your career. You will need strong financial and management accounting skills along with good attention to detail. You will need energy and drive and a passion for improving a growing business
