Management Accountant

Our client is a medium sized Private Equity backed manufacturing business who have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Management Accountant to join their finance department. They will consider candidates who are either part-qualified, finalist or recently qualified and are happy to provide a competitive salary plus study support if required. You will have a good grasp of preparing management accounts and have ideally worked within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

The role will be ideal for someone looking to progress in a well-performing business as a management accountant, but with the scope to progress further into a management role. A strong work ethic and hands on approach to learning is required.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

*Production of monthly management accounts to the senior management team and individual stakeholders
*Provide management accounts information and analysis to support stakeholders within business
*Discussing variances to budget with individual budget holders periodically
*Overhead cost monitoring and reporting
*Cash forecasting
*VAT, Intrastat
*Balance Sheet Reconciliations
*Fixed Assets register and accounting
*Providing detailed analysis on revenues and costs
*Preparation of accounts (accruals, prepayments)
*Journal entries
*Assist the Financial Accountant as required in ad-hoc project work
