High-profile, global Infrastructure Fund is currently looking to hire an Analyst to join its highly-impressive Infrastructure Team.  Working within a team of 13 Analysts & Associates, you will support greenfield and secondary funds as well as support valuations and Portfolio management for all Infra funds under management. You will also own your own asset portfolio alongside the above responsibilities.

Based in London you may be required to travel to other worldwide offices to support transactions.

Working across a variety of different funds the Analyst will:

  • carry out semi-annual valuations of the portfolios and review financial model updates from the project companies
  • perform an in depth examination of the investment portfolio to identify savings and other value enhancements such as refinancing
  • update fund forecast models to look at future projections for business planning, modelling of equity returns and key commercial and financial inputs (including debt facilities and further equity capital raisings)
  • support the origination, analysis, structuring, documentation and execution of infrastructure opportunities in Europe with flexibility to work across other target regions

The Analyst will also:

  • carry out other analytical, research and modelling support for the team including competitor analysis and market reviews
  • assist in managing and reviewing all due diligence and structuring work-streams including the management of financial, legal and technical advisers
  • assist in the preparation of investment opportunity presentations to the investment committee
  • participate in reporting processes as required

Suitable applicants for the Analyst position will:

  • have relevant infrastructure experience – developer, adviser, industrial sponsor, infrastructure fund, project finance advisory and/or lending institution
  • have fluent French, Spanish or Dutch language skills
  • possess excellent financial modelling skills
  • have strong analytical, report-writing and legal comprehension skills
  • be able to grasp the key commercial drivers in relation to existing assets and new transactions
  • be educated to degree level and above
