FP&A Manager / Commercial Finance Analyst

A Market leading provider of bespoke Professional Services, part of several larger group companies, are looking for a new FP&A Manager to join their Mid Kent office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Analyst or someone with strong Management Accounting to progress to a Commercial Finance role that would give them board level exposure.

Key accountabilities

1. Production of the weekly flash revenue performance for Europe

2. Perform month end duties and revenue in a timely and accurate manner:
* Review all prepayments and accruals journals prepared by the shared finance team and make recommendations with supporting documentation
* Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of process and reporting

3. Production of the monthly management accounts (revenue and all costs) and providing insightful analysis against forecast/budget and history, allowing functional heads within Kent to monitor performance

4. Business partner with KENT functional heads to ensure that the goals of business are achieved in a collaborative manner by providing timely and appropriate analysis and proactive identification and recommendation of business opportunities

5. Assist the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis in the production of the business plans, annual budgets for revenue and costs (cost of sales and Overheads)

6. Work with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to produce accurate and owned financial forecasts and assist in the development of remedial actions to support achievement of functional budgets

7. Assisting with the production of the monthly management Board pack and reports for the parent company

8. Support the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and KENT Leadership Team with ad hoc analysis and strategy support

9. Liaise as required with HQ on reporting, budgeting and forecasting issues and ad-hoc analysis

10. Work with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis in exercising day-to-day control over the company's financial affairs and delegated budgets to ensure all activity is delivered within agreed spend limits

Requirements:

- CIMA / ACCA Qualified Accountant or QBE (Qualified by Experience)
- Strong business modelling skills, with ability to accurately understand and cross-reference multiple data sets
- Financial Analyst / Business Partner experience in a similar role for a Medium to Large Private Sector company
