Management Accountant

A Management Accountant is required to join a fast-growing Energy business based close to Warrington. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the management of the monthly profit and loss and balance sheet. Your role will cover the following;

• Production of month end figures
  
  
  
• Ensure accurate treatment of transactions
  
  
  
• Balance sheet reconciliation
  
  
  
• Variance analysis and commentary (compared to weekly and budgeted figures)
  
  
  
• Produce detailed monthly reporting packs for Directors
  
  
  
• Completion of Group Reporting requirements
  
  
  
• Manage daily/weekly P&L ensuring accuracy of figures and providing detailed backing for figures produced
  
  
  
• Attend and contribute at weekly performance reviews with Operational staff
  
  
  
• Assist in production of daily/weekly profit and loss
  
  
  
• Statutory reporting
  
  
  
• VAT returns
  
  
  
• Assist with budget production
  
  
  
• Working capital reviews
  
  
  
• Provide information required for audit
  
  
  
• General accounting duties
  
  
  
• Review of processes
  
  
  
• Adhoc projects

To be considered, you should be newly qualified or be studying towards the final stages of CIMA/ACCA and have gained experience in a financial and management accounting role.
