Senior Project Accountant

Our client is a leading property services company that has achieved its market position though acquisition and organic growth that is dedicated to bringing the highest quality services to their clients on an international scale. After the success of recent projects and plans for others to commence imminently, they are looking for a Project Accountant to join the team for an initial 3 – 6 Months.

Role Brief:

Due to the company going through various changes recently, the nature of the role naturally becomes very ad-hoc. The initial project they are working on are some very complex balance sheet reconciliations accompanied with various other ad-hoc projects and initiatives – process improvement, and facilitating changes with the offshore shared service centre. The initial project is likely to finish towards the end of the year and the focus will change to other pressing projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A Qualified Accountant, practice trained with applicable industry experience;
• Hands-on accounting experience;
• The ability to manage workload, prioritise efficiently and be proactive in seeking improvements to the processes with a core focus on optimisation and delivery;
• Strong IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes;
• Strong communication skills both written and oral with proven experience in influencing senior stakeholders and ability to summarise complex information into concise and value adding insights.
