Senior Management Accountant

Sellick Partnership is exclusively recruiting a Senior Management Accountant, to work within a reputable organisation within the Nottinghamshire area. This position is on a permanent basis and will lead the Management Accounts team for a large multi-site / multi-customer business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performance Reporting - To manage the periodic reporting process, ensuring that the information generated is used to challenge performance and drive action.
• Rolling Forecast - To co-ordinate the generation of the commercial, purchasing, operational or overhead elements of the rolling forecast, and review the results to ensure they are robust and supported by sound assumptions.
• Control Environment - To review and develop the commercial, operational, overhead & operational control systems, ensuring they are adequate and are being consistently applied.
• Month End - To contribute to an efficient and robust month end process.
• Group Requirements - To co-ordinate and communicate with group functions and external parties as required. Ensure that reporting and control systems are reviewed and modified to comply with group standards.
• IS and Business Processes - To review the management accounting systems to ensure they are operating and are being used efficiently and effectively, and that the integrity of the information held within them is maintained. Review and improve business processes to ensure that they comply with the changing needs of the business.
• People Management - to manage the Finance team. To recruit, lead and motivate direct reports to achieve agreed service levels, and to develop and continually improve.

The successful candidate will have…

• A qualification in CIMA, ACCA or ACA - if not, then almost qualified
• FMCG background is desirable
• Leadership qualities
• Business partnering experience
• Confident communication skills at all fer levels
• Advanced SAGE experience
