A Global Pharmaceutical business is currently looking for an interim CFO join their London Office for an interim 6 month period. The business is looking for someone who can lead the finance function whilst still offering strong commercial insight and knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry.

This position requires someone with an in depth knowledge of the industry, in particular the product life cycle, through from R&D, to commercialisation and mass production of a product.
 

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Business Partnering/Liaison with board and international stakeholders from numerous regional offices
• Assist in fund-raising and investor relations
• Assist in improving and implementing internal controls, procedures and processes
• Variety of ad-hoc tasks to improve functionality and efficiency of entire finance function
• Oversee and manage team of 7

Ideal Candidates will be/have:

• Experience working in a listed pharmaceutical business, ideally NASDAQ
• Excellent technical experience with good working knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting queries.
• Excellent communication skills, capable interacting with senior stakeholders across the business
• Must be a fully qualified accountant.

This is a contract role, applicants must be immediately available with a view to interview and start ASAP. Pharmaceutical/healthcare experience is essential.
