Our discerning client is looking for candidates with the demonstrable ability to look beyond numbers and provide significant value-add through being able to immediately identify key commercial drivers to impact business transformation.
Boasting a highly reputable brand name, the business has a number of strategic initiatives which have been earmarked for execution in the coming years. The successful Commercial Analyst will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of ongoing projects, as well as leading on the continued improvement in performance across the business.
The role of the Commercial Analyst will involve the following responsibilities;
• Responsible for providing strategic and commercial support on how to optimise value-added services and additional revenue lines
• Development, interpretation and reporting on business KPIs and metrics to support key strategic decisions across the business
• Driving continual improvement in the quality of reporting and analytics
• Analyse financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management
• Support with other ad-hoc strategic and commercial work
The person
• The candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional financial and data modelling skills
• You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable with both internal and external stakeholders in a genuinely dynamic environment
• The ideal candidate will be from a Transaction Support or Data Modelling background within an accountancy practice, or a specialist business consultancy firm
• An exceptional academic background is required with a minimum 2:1 degree from a red-brick university within maths, statistics or other analytical discipline
