Urgent Vacancy – Accountant
Rate: £20-30 per an hour dependent upon experience
Hours: 3 months temporary with permanent role potentially on offer should the placement be successful
Location: Lincoln
Our client, a local Public Sector organisation based in Lincoln is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their team starting next week.
Please not it is essential for this role that candidates are CCAB qualified.
Duties include:
- Creating and completing a set of management accounts from scratch from previous accounts and audit/working papers
- Creating ad then running a month end process in order that monthly accounts position can be reported on a regular and scheduled basis
- Playing a part in audit and accounts reporting following year end
- Performing an array of other accounts duties within the business to learn the whole scope of the business
- Undertaking Reconciliations including bank recs and intercompany recs
- Posting journals, processing accruals and prepayments and analysing variance
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Exposure to SAGE 200 or SAGE 50
