Finning (UK) Ltd is the UK division of Finning International Inc. one of the world's largest distributors of Caterpillar plant, complementary equipment and power systems.

Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, and listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Finning has bases in the UK and Ireland (both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland), Canada and South America (Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Uruguay.

In the UK there are two main Finning business areas; Finning Construction Equipment and Finning Power Systems, Finning employ over 1,450 people and operate a nationwide network of branches.

Finning are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Business Partner to support their Equipment Solutions Business, a key commercial division. This part of the organisations has enjoyed strong growth in recent years and this role will provide leadership and direction on all commercial matters across the business.

The role will be instrumental in identifying, developing and delivering further growth and profitability improvement opportunities whilst balancing commercial risk and exposure.

You will be a driving force in the provision of first class analysis and information and a leader of improving efficiency. As the Commercial Business Partner you will take ownership of the numbers and establish strong relationships with the General Managers across the business. 

To succeed in this role as the Commercial Business Partner, you will be a fully qualified accountant with post qualification experience.

You will have experience within a commercial environment - retail or construction in particular would be advantageous. You will be a strong communicator will the ability to lead and influence key stakeholders.
