I have been out to my client, a finance manager for a manufacturing company in North Nottinghamshire who is looking for a capable and technically strong Management Accountant for a 1 year Fixed Term Contract with a likelihood of permanent placement after the assignment.
You will be in charge of a division of the organisation that has a budget of £6-8 million. In this role, you will get involved in the month end process including budgets/forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, project funding and reviews.
This organisation has such a fun environment where it is all about team work and people who tend to "buddy up" to help each other produce the information.
Other duties include cost centre expenses. This organisation, ideally, would love someone with an awareness of capital expenditure. You will have the chance to look at costings and material set up, analysis work to report efficiency variances.
This is your chance to help out with business improvement of the organisation and forecasting product costs.
My client is looking for someone qualified or part qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) from a manufacturing background with SAP experience and a high level of Excel skills. They are paying up to £35,000 for this role. As mentioned, the role will be for one year with a likelihood of making the role permanent after a successful completion of the assignment.
The role is very commercial that will see you liaise with non finance people across the business so confidence is key with strong communication skills and accurate reporting within deadline.
If this role sounds like your next move and you find yourself immediately available or your assignment is coming to an end soon, please 'Apply' or send your CV
