Finning are currently looking to recruit an Operations Accountant Team Lead to support the Financial Accounting Manager in the accurate and timely provision of accounts.

As the team lead, you will provide leadership and development to a team of 3 accounting assistants, whilst also overseeing the review of accounting transactions and associated processes across the business. You will identify and support continuous improvement initiatives and develop KPI’s to support this. You will also be involved in optimisation of SAP and will act as the key point of contact for SAP testing and development within the finance division. 

To succeed in this role you will hold an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with a solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will have strong excel skills and preferably experience using SAP FI-CO/SCM. Prior staff management would be advantageous for this role.
