Operations Accountant

Finning are currently looking to recruit an Operations Accountant to support the Financial Accounting Manager in the accurate and timely provision of accounts.

Your key duties will focus on ensuring the financial accounts and statements are accurate and accounted for in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will perform analysis of P&L accounts and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts identifying any key areas of risk within the balance sheet. You will work closely with operational managers across the business to review, document and improve transactional accounting processes and assist with production of reports where appropriate. You will also review inventory values and provisions to ensure they are recorded correctly. 

To succeed in this role you will hold an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA or equivalent). You will be a self-starter looking to develop your career. You possess strong reporting and analysis skills, advanced excel skills and an eye for detail.
