Management Accountant

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap is currently working with a leading business in the Leeds area to recruit a permanent management accountant to join the growing finance team.

THE JOB:

The management accountant role provides support to the Financial Controller in the production of the annual budget and monthly management accounts, together with assisting with cash flow forecasting, financial modelling and statutory reporting. As management accountant you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statement
• Completion of monthly reporting packs
• Preparation of overhead packs and reviewing costs against budget
• Intercompany recharges and postings.
• Statutory reporting and compliance including year end preparation
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives.

You will be a qualified accountant, CIMA or equivalent with the ability to utilise your management accounting experience to support the Financial Controller. You will be a confident individual with excellent attention to detail and a good team player who encourages collaboration and welcomes change to achieve greater results.
