Accounts Payable Clerk

Reed Accountancy and Finance are currently working on an Accounts Payable Clerk position based in Edinburgh. The business are a leading organisation that are currently experiencing a very exciting period of growth. Because of this they have an exciting permanent vacancy within the purchase ledger team.

To be considered for this position you MUST have experience of the following-

- Maintaining the full accounts payable function
- Matching, batching and coding of invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Processing company credit card statements
- Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts
- Monitoring accruals for management accounts
- Raising purchase orders
- Reporting as per requested
- Finance administration

The business uses an in house accounts package and because of this they are looking for candidates that have strong I.T. skills. Excel will also be used within the role so experience of this is essential.
