Working in a high calibre team, viewed as the talent pool from which the Divisional Heads hand pick their new recruits, you will be responsible for planning and carrying out audit assignments around the business.

Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Adopt a risk based audit approach, identifying and understanding the key finance and operational risks, processes and mitigating controls over a series of processes across finance and other business functions.
  • Project-manage and undertake individual audit assignments for which the key output is an audit report circulated to Local, Divisional and Group management.
  • Conduct and report on special projects and investigations (e.g. pre-and post-acquisition reviews, whistleblowing investigations, functional reviews), as required.
  • Undertake non-standard audits, requiring the development and execution of bespoke audit scopes and work programmes tailored to the circumstances.
  • Design content and complete audit working papers, tailoring these to the risks and requirements of specific business units and audit scopes.
  • Liaise with a range of individuals across all levels of Management at operating units and Divisions / Functions to effectively plan and deliver audits.
  • Communicate audit findings to various levels of Management, including drafting the audit report, agreeing the content with key stakeholders and presenting findings at the audit close meeting.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant or Auditor with a background in external or internal audit.  Typically individuals undertake these roles for a period of 2 years before moving into either a Group Head Office or Divisional role.  You may be recently qualified or have many years post qualification experience.  You will be, driven, ambitious, professional in your approach and capable of working with numerous stakeholders within a Corporate Head Office environment and at operational level. This is a rare, career defining opportunity to join a business which will drive your career and earning potential for years to come.
