I am currently recruiting for a qualified Head of Department to join a Corporate team within an independent firm of Accountants and Business Advisors based in South Manchester.
My client have a long-established history and modern outlook by valuing their employees in offering progression and stability within an extremely friendly working culture.
Your responsibilities:
- You will work servicing a portfolio of business clients
- Managing the Corporate Accounts team and training trainees/junior staff
- Mentoring your team and assisting them in developing their career within the business
- You will review Audit and Accounts work carried out, prior to the Director review
- Be involved in ad-hoc special assignments
- Ensure clients' work is dealt with in a timely manner and completed by the required due date
- Ensure that assignments are completed to a high standard
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Actively work on Business Development strategies in order win new clients.
Person specification:
- ACA/ACCA qualified, with minimum of 6 years' practice experience
- Audit experience is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
