Are you an effective, professional Interim Finance Manager with experience supporting SMEs and managing transactional staff? Are you a Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience, immediately available and currently looking for a new, long term assignment? Elevation Recruitment Group's Senior Interim Finance Practice is currently working on behalf of an established SME, assisting them with their recruitment of an Interim Finance Manager
to cover an interim period of 12 months.
The business, who is a very successful, established organisation has recently diversified and extended their service. In line with this they now require additional support to the management structure to support an increase in work load. Based on the business plans over the next 9-12 months there could be potential for the role to become permanent.
The main duties will include:
- Review weekly and monthly trading results
- Management of the transactional team
- Month end process, production of month end accounts
- Reconcile customer accounts at period end
- Produce budgets and forecasts
- Adhere to internal and external deadlines on a weekly and monthly basis
- KPI results analysis for the period
- Reconcile balance sheets and Open Book Reconciliations
- Provide clear concise financial advice and direction to the contract to ensure delivery of results
The successful candidate will require the following:
- Able to work on own initiative as well as to contribute constructively to a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to extract, analyse and present data in a clear logical way to provide to the non- finance Staff
- Proactive in finding more efficient solutions to current systems and procedures
- Attention to detail
- Immediately available or available on short notice
