Elevation Recruitment Group's Senior Interim Finance Practice is currently recruiting for a commercially driven, experienced Interim Finance Manager on behalf of a successful business in Barnsley.
This is an interim assignment and will initially last for 6-9 months. There could be potential to extend this to 12 months, dependant on business requirements as the contract progresses.
The successful candidate will ideally have a professional qualification such as CIMA or ACCA as well as having solid practical experience gained within a fast paced, commercial environment.
The main duties will include:
- Management of the month end close process
- Data analysis
- Data collation and preparation of the monthly board packs
- Preparation of monthly management account reports including balance sheet and cash flow
- Consolidation of group accounts
- Preparation and submission of the quarterly VAT returns
- Production of management reporting including margin analysis and costs
- Balance sheet review and reconciliation
- Other duties as required for the role including payroll and invoice coding
The successful candidate will require the following:
- Ideally qualified in either CIMA or ACCA
- Strong analytical experience
- Experience gained within an accounting environment
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Available to start immediately and able to commit to at least 3 months
