Senior Finance Controller

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Controller - Logistics to join our Multisite Finance team. In this role you will be based at Stourton Dairy and will report to the UK Multisite Manager.

Responsibilities

As Senior Finance Controller - Logistics you will be responsible for the implementation of standardised accounting processes across the Logistics operations. You will have ownership of key financial processes for multiple sites.

These processes will include:

- Month end closing

- Financial and KPI Reporting

- Operational controlling

In addition, you will also play a key role in terms of applying Arla principles and KPIs across the sites. You will maintain a close relationship with multiple business partners and site teams and will give feedback on registration issues that impact on financials and suggest remedial action where appropriate. You will also be responsible for the clear interpretation of monthly financial results.

Working closely with other members of the Multisite team, both globally and in the UK, you will provide support and mentoring as required. You will also participate in optimising key processes and will represent the Global Multisite community at a site level. Finally, the role will also require you to be involved in a number of different projects including the implementation of Harmonisation and RBC projects.

Skills

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of complex accounting processes and will be comfortable explaining these to other people. With a global mind-set you will have the ability to put Arla models into practice. In addition, you will be customer focused and will be able to demonstrate high attention to detail. With effective communication skills you will be able to deal with a range of stakeholders at different levels and will challenge, ask questions and help to resolve conflict. Your strong problem solving abilities will help you to continuously look to find new and better ways of working. Strong Excel and SAP experience would be beneficial along with a background gained within a Logistics environment.
