Finance Director

An ambitious and commercially focused candidate is required to join a hugely successful retailer as Finance Director. Responsibility encompasses all retail stores, concessions as well as brand development and wholesale, thus the perfect candidate will integrate themselves into the fast-moving and ever-changing retail business environment and focus solely on driving business growth, profitability whilst spearheading company-wide expansion strategy on an international level.

The ideal candidate needs to have and maintain leadership and motivation as a senior Board member and commercial business partner who is at the forefront of change and responsible for successful growth of the business.

In the fast-paced retail business environment, you will be;

• Reporting to and business partnering with the Chief Exec
• Taking ownership of aggressive growth strategy and spearheading the commercial agenda
• Building strong relationships with peers and the broader team across all functions
• Monitoring contractual and operational performance in a high volume low margin environment
• Day to day management of the Finance function including FP&A, budgeting, reporting, accounting and tax
• Implementation and management of financial systems, processes and controls and cash forecasting

• IT and logistics operational support

Your resume must have the following;

• A qualified accountant
• Have aggressively grown a business successfully as no.1 in finance
• Experienced in retail (and/or wholesale)
• Highly adept at managing high volume low margin transactions
• Good technical, analytical and strong leadership skills
• Ability to be hands on in a stand alone environment and prepared to manage the detail
