Financial Controller

The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting a Financial Controller role for a Global Media business based in Central London. The business operates on an International scale and its activities cover TV, Digital, Publishing and Creative. As a result of their continued expansion they are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to head up their day to day financial activities whilst managing and developing a team. As Financial Controller this role will be responsible for setting and checking targets and monitoring the performance within the business in line with set budgets.

Duties include;

• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts on a regular basis
• Overseeing preparation of month end accounts
• Audits and year end statutory accounts
• Implementing and maintaining all financial controls
• Identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies
• Monthly management accounts
• Ad-hoc project work

The successful candidate will be a Qualified ACA with experience gained within a Media environment. They will be a proven Manager with demonstrable experience of month end accounts, P&L ownership and systems improvement. Experience of stakeholder influence and management across the non-finance community will be highly advantageous.
