INTERIM FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

-An interim role for a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant has become available in the West Hull area. Candidates need strong financial accounting skills and high levels of competency with Excel.


THE ROLE

-Working alongside an established finance team and ultimately reporting into the Finance Director, the role will involve some staff management
-There will be a heavy involvement in the audit and annual budget process which will include planning, organising and reviewing key elements of both
-Project work, month end reporting, reconciliation preparation and review
-Ad hoc analysis and investigative work



THE CANDIDATE

-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, the successful candidate needs to have immediate availability or be available on short notice for a period of approximately 6 months but there may be an option for a permanent position at the end of the contract
-A high standard of systems literacy is required combined with excellent inter-personal and communication skills
-You must be able to commit to the length of the contract for continuity, however it is possible that the position may become permanent
-Initial training in professional practice is preferred however our client is open minded and selection will be made on level of experience and qualification

-Based in the West Hull area, the location has excellent access for the A63, A164 and Humber Bridge so within an easy commute of Hull, Beverley, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire villages. It is also an easy drive from the eastern end of the M62. The company has contemporary, airy offices and there is free parking on site. Lunchtime shopping is available at Sainsburys and Waitrose, both a short drive away and a number of independent shops in Willerby and Hessle.
