A multi award winning international Investment Management firm is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join the Finance Team. You will need to have been involved in a similar role recently whereby you will have been responsible for MI reporting and management accounting along with some statutory reporting with IFRS or UK GAAP. An understanding of funds and investments is also desirable along with general industry knowledge but this is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting / Statutory Accounting
- Timely preparation of the monthly management accounts for multiple entities
- Management reporting
- Review of VAT returns
- Month end consolidation
- Analysis and subsequent presentations
- Business Partnering and stakeholder management
- Assist senior managers to achieve targets and objectives within budget.
Experience:
- Recognised accountancy qualifications ACA/CIMA or eqv.
- Experience in Asset/Investment management is required
- Staff management required for a small team
- Strong systems skills, ideally with Sun or a similar system
