The Business:
Our client is a FTSE 100 consumer goods business. The business owns some of the most well known brands across the globe and are experiencing a period of significant growth. Due to an internal promotion, they are currently recruiting for a Commercial Accountant to support the national sales teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading analysis and understanding of the overall performance of the division, supporting senior management.
- Finance business partner non-finance functions providing financial support to aid decision making across the sales business
- Ad hoc analysis as and when required
- Budgeting, forecasting and quarterly reporting
- Analysis of new product launches and scenario analysis
Skills/Experience required:
- Ideally a qualified accountant ACA/ACCA / CIMA (or overseas equivalent) although late stage part qualified candidates will be considered
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at the highest level, including the CEO
- The ability to communicate complex financial issues / information to non-finance colleagues
- Previous budgeting, forecasting and analytical experience
- Previous experience in FMCG or retail is preferred
- Advanced Excel and modelling skills
