Senior Finance Manager

The SF Group are currently recruiting a Senior Finance Manager for our Birmingham based NHS client for circa 8 months. You will manage a small team and be able to show initiative and be able to support various projects and different stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to a changing organisation where you will be in charge of playing a key strategic role in the provision of both financial and non-financial advice to enable the divisions to improve their overall profitability and productivity.

Your work will help improve/establish systems and processes to enable the timely and accurate delivery of monthly management accounts and budget information. You be involved in the annual budget setting process, provide ongoing support and direction for the budget holders as well as investigating and reporting on variances.

The ideal candidate with be CCAB qualified, have proven NHS experience and will be a strong communicator and people manager. Furthermore, experience using Oracle and excel to a good standard is essential. There will be travel involved with the position and the right candidate will be able to evidence key business partnering across various boards. This role does bring with it a great level of autonomy so this would suit a candidate who can lead by example and show good business and commercial acumen.
