Badenoch & Clark are currently working with a well known insurance business with offices based in Sussex to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Finance Director you will be the link between finance and at least one or more specified business areas. You will be an integral member of the leadership team for those specific business areas.

Responsibilities include:
Development of financially sound business strategy and annual operating plans
Monitoring and management of business and financial performance
Responsibilities for expense planning and forecasting
Act as a Finance representative within product/pricing reviews.
Support detailed portfolio reviews to drive improvement in profitability
Challenge P&L planning & forecasting assumptions
Own process and coordinate loss ratios in regards to planning, forecasting and reporting of actuals.

Experience / Background

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Previous commercial accounting / business partnering experience
Strong knowledge / background in the insurance industry
Excellent communication skills / senior stakeholder management experience
Strong commercial negotiation experience
