My client a London based renowned Commercial group have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic and result focused finance team. Reporting in to the Finance Manager with an exceptional career background working for large commercial companies, who provides assistance and guidance to help all of his staff develop their skill set.
The duties of the Assistant Management Accountant are the following; assist in the production of the monthly management packs; present monthly meetings providing key strategic financial information to the senior management teams; work closely with financial and non-financial members of staff to guide and advise them on financial planning, budgeting and forecasting; quarterly forecast updates analysing variances compared to budgets and providing commentary accordingly.
The successful candidate will be a part qualified accountant who is actively studying, strong interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate with finance and non-finance stakeholders to challenge and influence assertively and cooperatively.
