Senior Internal Auditor

Our client, a leading Financial Services organisation based in Brighton are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their diverse and successful team.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Deliver audits plan to time and budget as per the annual risk-based audit
- Lead and conduct end-to-end auditing
- Regularly communicate with the Head of Internal Audit and Senior Operational Management on process and control deficiencies
- When required, provide a high quality review of audit working papers and files and produce clear and concise draft audit reports
- Assist the Head of Internal Audit in reviewing the internal audit strategy, whilst reviewing and updating the Internal Audit Universe
- Ensure Internal Audit service levels are met or exceeded and adhere to all corporate policies

You will also have the following skillset and an understanding of:

- CMIIA / ACCA / ACA or an equivalent qualification
- Financial services audit background would be ideal
- Relevant regulatory / statutory requirements
- Corporate governance and best practice requirements
- Maintain a professional, pro-active approach to audit assignments
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Strong analytical, challenging and investigative skills
