Finance Director for a Shipping business based in the West End £80-95k + bonus + benefits
A global FTSE business based in the West End is looking to recruit a Finance Director. You will be working for a privately owned business which is one of the key leaders in the Shipping sector. You will be working for a business which has a worldwide trading presence and is highly regarded for performance excellence and expertise.
They key deliverables as a Finance Director include but are not limited to
-Directing, reviewing and implementing financial policies, controls and strategies for the company
-Effective and professional management of the Accounts team
-Production of timely and accurate quarterly management accounts and statutory annual financial statements
-Develop financial tax strategies in accordance with statutory regulations
-Drive continuous change in systems and procedures
-Lead in the preparation of consolidation group financial statements and interim reports under IFRS
-Daily liaising with company offices in Europe You must be fully qualified ACA from practice with at least 4 years industry experience.
You must have strong team management experience as this role will be overseeing a team of 15 employees and have strong technical capabilities under IFRS / UK GAAP.
