Finance Manager

Finance Manager required for a well-established market leading B2B services business.

This role, sitting within the Shared Service centre, will have a focus on driving and delivering process improvements. The Finance Manager will need to have an eye for detail and an understanding of controls in order to ensure that the financial systems and processes are robust.

You will have the chance to lead and inspire six direct reports across two teams, so will enjoy and have the desire to develop staff. As well as day to day duties you will be involved in project work so will be able to manage multiple work-steams effectively.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as key point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Providing Balance sheet reconciliations, Assisting with Accounting & VAT queries
• Monitoring the process control environment, mitigating risk
• Creating and presenting clear business cases, defining and reporting on KPI's

The Finance manager will think creatively in their ability to influence both finance and non-finance stakeholders business-wide. A logical, problem-solving mind will be beneficial in this role as you will need to interpret large amounts of complex data. You will also have the chance to deputise for the Shared service manager, so will be confident taking on extra responsibility.

To be successful in your application for this role you must be a fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) Accountant with significant post qualification experience. You will have strong Excel skills, and a commercial mind-set. Previous experience of change management, process improvements and working within a control environment will benefit your application. Exposure to Unit 4 Agresso is desirable.
