Financial Controller

Our client is a global services business that operates in over 25 countries with 73 offices worldwide. They are the market leader in their specific field and have revenues of just over £300m. 

Due to an internal restructure, our client is now looking for a Group Accounting Manager to take responsibility of the management accounts, budgets and forecasts and provide senior management (inc. Group CFO) with detailed analysis of the department cost management. Other key aspects of the role include:

• Ensuring appropriate financial controls and metrics are in place to enhance the visibility and management of the business.
• Ensure all reporting meets both business unit and group reporting timetables.
• Provide support to Corporate Centre managed projects.
• Be first point of contact for the group finance team for day-to-day deliverables.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least fours years post qualified experience. It is crucial that the potential candidate has been involved in producing the management accounts as well as having managed a team of at least four. Due to the amount of business partnering with senior directors, it is also important that this candidate has excellent communication skills, is articulate and pragmatic and also has high levels of emotional intelligence.
