THE COMPANY:
Due to consistent year on year growth over the last 5 years, CCS Media are looking to recruit a commercially aware Financial Controller to lead and manage a finance team responsible for all accounting and financial operations within the business.
THE ROLE:
This is a new role which has been created as a result of ambitious growth plans, and this person will play a key role in the business's expansion plans to reach £250m turnover.
Your role as Financial Controller will be to take control of the day to day finance function to deliver effective financial accounting, reporting and controls activities across the business.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Leading, managing and developing the finance team including 2 ACA studiers
- Taking responsibility for the production and timely delivery of the monthly management accounts pack
- Implementing effective and accurate cash flow forecasting and providing reports to the Finance Director
- Oversight for all aspects of property and fixed assets
- Review of financial systems, controls and procedures
- Oversight of accurate and timely filing of statutory accounts at year end
- Act as the key point of contact and liaison with Insurers, banks and solicitors
- Providing vital commercial support to the Finance Director
- Ongoing improvement work to ensure robust and best in class financial processes
- Responsibility for all aspects of fleet management
- Liaison with Operations Director and other senior stakeholders across the business
THE PERSON:
You will be fully qualified with at least 3 years PQE and have previous experience working in a similar position, Strong IT skills including advanced excel are essential along with a desire to work and succeed in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
You will be a motivational people manager with strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally within the organisation.
