Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Site Accounts Administrator for a leading service business in Rotherham. The company operates on a national scale and this role will be instrumental in providing both accountancy and administrative support for 25 of their sites whilst also working at least 3 days a week centrally at the Head Office in Rotherham.
The will be an extremely varied role with duties split 50/50 between the administration and accounts. The role will encompass looking after the accounts and administration for a number of their sites including Birmingham, Stoke On Trent, Hull, Liverpool as well as South Yorkshire. This does mean some travelling will be part of this role (approx. 2 days a week) and therefore a car and driving license are vital. Duties will include:-
- Processing the purchase ledger and sales ledger
- Credit Control
- Checking timesheets
- Reconciling Petty Cash
- Checking payroll details are correct and up to date
- Auditing procedures
- Taking minutes from meetings
- Completing clerical and secretarial duties
To be successful for this role you MUST:
- Have a strong accounting background in both accounts and administration
- Have excellent numerical skills
- Good working knowledge of accounting packages
- Be able to work well under your own initiative
- Be highly organised
