My Client a Global Leading Technology Business in London is looking for a Management Accountant to join their head office team.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager the Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Management of P&L and balance sheet for a number of legal entities which include multiple profit centres and currencies
  • Lead the commercial interface between finance and the business for the relevant products
  • Working with the Group Reporting, FP&A and Shared Service functions to ensure complete and accurate reporting of revenues and costs
  • Provide support to and stand in for Senior Finance Manager as needed

Management reporting

  • Undertake the month end management accounting, including multi-currency reporting, for multiple departments
  • Work in close collaboration with our Shared Service Centre teams to ensure the correct monthly classification of transactional items
  • Manage the correct reporting of costs and revenues through month end analytical review
  • Ensure complete and accurate balance sheet position is maintained, and is supported through balance sheet reconciliations

Budgeting, Forecasting and Commercial Support

  • Lead the provision of support for monthly forecasting, annual budgets and strategic planning
  • Participate in the preparation of the Group's annual budget and three year plan for specific areas of the business
  • Provide support and assistance to key business leaders in the financial analysis of their business
  • Proactively liaise with product heads to ensure strong relationships between the Business and Finance.

Statutory accounting

  • Contribute to the Group's annual accounts process through the preparation of year end analysis and disclosures, for submission to the Group Technical Accounting team
  • Provide support to the external auditors as required to ensure successful audit sign off
  • Support the annual preparation of subsidiary Financial Statements for multiple legal entities
  • Management of local Sales Tax filings and timely submissions

Successful candidates will have 2:1 degree or above, who are part qualified accountants with first time passes and have had experience in preparing full sets of management accounts.
