My client, a market-leading organisation within the manufacturing industry, is currently recruiting for a Divisional Financial Controller to join their established team from January on a 12-15 month maternity cover.
Answering to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory and management accounts while undertaking variance analysis of weekly v monthly accounts v budget. You will also oversee process improvement projects with the aim of improving workflow and processes are in place for the approval of account reconciliations. In addition to this, you will be responsible for undergoing an internal audit annually. This would suit a strong, newly qualified Management Accountant looking to take the step up where they will have full autonomy for one site supported through remote management.
In order to be successful you must have the following:
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualification
- Experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual budgets
- Strong background using excel and accountancy applications
- Background in the management of teams.
In return you will receive a basic salary of £35,000-£40,000 in addition to an excellent healthcare and pension scheme.
