Our client is seeking a bright and motivated individual to join their Finance team as a Trainee Assistant Accountant based in Thame.

Description
The Trainee Assistant Accountant will be supporting the Finance team and the duties will involve:
- Responsible for balance sheet reconciliation file maintenance
- Chasing outstanding documentation
- Data entry for systems set up on the accountancy system, amending codes, customers and vendors
- Extracting and preparing documentation for the quarterly and annual audits
- Checking payments, bank reconciliations and other ad hoc duties
Profile
The successful Trainee Assistant Accountant will be looking to gain a junior role within a finance team and have the motivation and aptitude to progress within that company. The individual would:
- Ideally have experience working in a financial environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to demonstrate you are well-organised and can work to tight deadlines and have great attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to be a strong team player
- Qualification - Maths and English GCSE's or equivalent
- Accountancy/business Graduates would be ideal!
Job Offer
The salary on offer is between £16,000 and £18,000 plus an extensive benefits package and study package for AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
