Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Lead the technical accounting review of large or unusual contracts within the ARI segment. This may include reviews of Master Service Agreements (MSA), framework agreements with OEMs or other large groups, client-specific Statements of Work (SOW), and any Non-Standard Addenda (NSA).
· Actively support CDK efforts and analyze and implement the new revenue recognition accounting standards (affects both IFRS and US GAAP), which is expected to be a multi-year effort. Serve as the primary ARI liaison for technical accounting matters on revenue recognition.
· Actively support CDK efforts to analyze and implement the new lease accounting standards (affects both IFRS and US GAAP). Serve as the primary ARI liaison for technical accounting matters.
· Assist with other newly issued or revised accounting standards that affect the ARI segment and CDK Global.
· Draft or review technical accounting memos for unusual or complex matters. Assist with addressing any external auditor questions or concerns.
· If applicable, partner with the Corporate Controller organization to provide additional technical accounting support for any business combination activity (i.e. M&A) occurring within the ARI segment.
· Assist with other initiatives, as assigned by the ARI segment CFO.
Preparation and delivery of training programmes to finance and non-finance personnel on revenue recognition rules and other areas of complex accounting under US GAAP and IFRS.
