Finance Director

SF Group are working with a multi site distribution business in the Midlands to source a dynamic and commercially oriented Finance Director.

This Finance Director will manage a cost base of c£250m which essentially delivers supply chain and logistics services to this nationwide organisation.

Essentially you will be the finance partner to the Divisional Directors and work with them in the formulation and delivery of the business unit annual plan and strategy and to drive insightful analysis and review of business performance, highlighting any trends and areas of concern. You will complete all financial and more importantly management reporting in order to produce numbers from which judgement calls can be made.

You will already be a high performing senior finance leader within a multi-site/multi-channel/complex organisation. You will either be managing a large cost base in relation to supply chain services or as FD, be running a revenue generative business unit where supply chain and distribution costs are a significant cost % of your annual P&L account.

You will also be a strong communicator and be resilient, flexible, have the ability to think clearly under pressure and to prioritise and delegate.
