Our Client is in the logistics business which has been successfully trading for 20+years. They are based in Northamptonshire with other sites within the UK with plans to open more sites during 2017.

As a result of this business growth and ambitious plans for the future, there is a vacancy for a qualified Finance Controller. This position represents a unique opportunity to join a customer focused organisation with an eye for business improvement and the ability to develop technology/systems to support future growth.  If you feel you can contribute to the success of a team with still more ambitious plans for the future, this could be the opportunity for you.

You will have an energetic ‘can-do’ attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and an eye for detail. As well as being personable and approachable you will have the capacity for significant workloads.  You will have a proven operational background working at a senior level in a commercial environment. There will be an opportunity for the right candidate to grow within this ambitious business.

Your principal responsibilities will be:

• Controlling all finance activities and working closely with the Finance Director and other Board members
• Day to day management of the finance function and management responsibility for a team
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of annual accounts for statutory audit

You can expect an annual salary of circa £65,000 with a package commensurate with your experience and the challenges this role will bring.
