The Role

• Manage an overall Finance and IT team of 40 with 5 direct reports
• Maintain & build on the existing strong relationships with bankers, insurers, lawyers, other grain co-operatives, farmers and customers
• Act as a true business partner and provide analysis and insights to MD & COO on overall market and providing necessary and timely financial performance reporting and recommendations to drive business performance
• Financial lead for M&A activity

The Candidate

• Graduate calibre, qualified accountant preferably with food, trading or logistics experience
• Strategic in outlook yet hands on/can do attitude
• Energetic, dynamic, engaging and hands on with high levels of integrity
• Highly professional with strong gravitas and presence, well versed in managing complex and demanding stakeholders
