Senior Finance Manager

AGL Company is about to embark on period of significant change. At the heart of this business change is a complete revision of the IT infrastructure involving revising, replacing or enhancing almost all of our internal systems as well as commercial renegotiation, restructuring and implementation of existing partnerships globally across our reward currencies.

The Senior Finance Manager will be an integral part of the Business Transformation project from a finance perspective. They will manage the process from business case to post implementation review, to ensure that as a business we invest, manage and control expenditure appropriately.  This role is also responsible for the production of the monthly forecast & reporting for our Business Transformation department (which includes IT) and programme board. 

What we are looking for?            
 

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
• Ability to view initiatives/opportunities from a wide perspective and be able to understand, challenge and anticipate ongoing business impacts
• Confident managing numerous stakeholders at a senior level.
• Management accounting experience essential - including reporting experience
• Proven track record of developing & implementing process improvements
• Confident business partnering and building effective relationships 
• Strong analytical and Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookup)
• Experience of working with business cases is desirable – particularly the confidence & ability to challenge forecasts (within business cases)
