Supply Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a successful FMCG organisation based in Basingstoke for a Supply Accountant to join their high performing team. This is a great opportunity for an individual early in their career looking to step up, seeking a business with a people-centric culture, and the ability to make an impact in a successful company. Working with various non-finance stakeholders including Logistics and Quality teams, this is a commercially orientated role offering broad exposure.

Responsibilities include:

-Business Partner with cost centre managers to understand potential savings and estimated spend.

-Own the factory P&L for the UK ensuring that the inputs are correct and are calculated in line with the finance manual and tac regulations.

-Provide management reporting on Margin After Conversion (MAC) results and supply overheads for Factory, Market and total unit, including periodic commentary to UK CFO and presenting results at reviews and the Leadership Team Meeting.

-Business Partner with the supply teams on tactical and operational decision affecting the two factories.

Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be expected to work alongside, present results to and influence decisions with people at all levels within the business. To be successful you will have a strategic mind with high commercial acumen, be educated to degree level with a full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
