£35-45,000 + Benefits
Working exclusively with Seymour John our client is a fast growing, highly profitable business with big plans and big funding. Aiming the deliver an international growth and acquisition strategy over the next three years, the finance function needs to be powered up to provide the platform to manage these challenges. The environment will be fast paced and provide exposure to some unique experiences, thereby supporting your professional and career evolution, e.g. into a Financial Controller position.
- Develop the financial reporting capability for the business to meet its new challenges and more complex corporate structure.
- Deliver consolidated financial reporting accurately, on time and compliant with IFRS.
- Understand international accounting regimes and ensure these are safely navigated.
- Accounting for multiple acquisitions which could be anywhere in the world.
- Champion any required improvements in processes and systems.
- Provide ad hoc support to a dynamic business and finance function where ever that is required, e.g. cash flow forecasting, bank and funder reporting, budgeting, forecasting, etc
- Remain professionally up to date with the latest accounting standards and apply these to the business.
The ideal candidate:
- ACA or ACCA Qualified having received excellent training in a Chartered Accountancy practice.
- Up to date on IFRS and keen to maintain knowledge.
- Strong intellect, probably proven through academic qualifications.
- Preferably some exposure within a commercial business, ideally one with international components.
