MERJE is representing a large engineering and manufacturing business recruit a Project Accountant for their site on the outskirts of Blackburn.
The Project Accountant will be responsible for:
- Preparing quarterly profitability and sales statements
- Ensuring the financial data is accurate and robust
- Supporting the business development activities to win new contracts
- Managing the Contract Status Reports effectively
- Performing all month end activities including sales and margin, allocating cash, hedging and raising journals
- Attending monthly Risk & Opportunities within the project reviews
Our client is looking for an ACA, CIMA or ACCA finalist or qualified accountant who has solid technical accounting skills as well as good communication and presentation skills.
