The role:- As the financial reporting expert within the Financial Reporting Group you will be responsible for providing technical advice and expertise to the assurance practice. You'll perform financial statement "hot" reviews and other accounts reviews, provide subject matter support, respond to technical queries on a range of topics across IFRS and UK GAAP. With presentations to external clients on financial IFRS reporting you will identify opportunities arising from changes in legislation or financial reporting to develop the firm's service offerings.
The person:- With a genuine interest in client facing roles and the ability to identify business opportunities for the group, with strong project management experience. A high level of analytical and problem solving skills strong exposure to IFRS and UKGAAP reporting and act as first point of contact for all IFRS reporting issues. A graduate qualified ACA/ACCA with a t least 5 years experience in IFRS and UK GAAP. Previous experience of working in a similar role, performing reviews of financial statements for compliance with accounting standards and responding to technical accounting queries
